Lake Macdonnell

Lake Macdonnell, Western Eyre Peninsula, SA | February 2022

This pink salt lake is gorgeous from the ground, and like a Neapolitan ice-cream from the skies. The pink lake flanks one side of the road, whilst the blue lake edges the other, although when we visited the earthy tones were showing through the blue lake, giving it an ice-cream-like effect from above. Chocolate brown on one side, strawberry pink on the other, and split right down the middle with a dusty vanilla-like road.

Almost good enough to eat!
