Dimboola Pink Lake

Pink Lake Dimboola, Western Highway, VIC | April 2021

This large pink lake was literally beside the motorway on our way to Melbourne. The most brilliant thing about salt lakes like this little lady, is not simply the striking colour, but how it can vary every single day. In summer this lake sometimes fades out to a near white colour, but then with a heavy down pour will bounce back to a bold shade of pink.

We love the textures, shades and lines that dance across this aerial photo of Pink Lake Dimboola.
